This was a commission for a book cover of "Sword of the Dragon" by Scott Appleton. It depicts a scene from his novel (at this time I do not know when [if?] this will be published, I will update if this changes).

This was completed almost entirely with the oil pastel brushes in Painter (and a little bit of the 'grainy water' blending brush). I didn't keep track of my exact hours invested but thinking back it was at least 100+ hours. I learned a lot over the course of this painting and will continue to push myself artistically.
